I work with a lot of parents of picky eaters who are struggling to find new ways to get their kids to try a bigger variety of foods. While some babies may grow into picky kids, I do find that you can often cut back on pickiness by offering your child a variety of flavors from their very first “meal”. The first three years of a child’s life is a great opportunity to develop lifelong healthy eating habits. You can greatly influence your child’s food preferences by teaching her to enjoy fresh new flavors right from the start.

Hello Fresh Review

I love to cook. I own a million different cookbooks, follow a ton of food blogs and love to go to the grocery store…but sometimes I get stuck in a cooking rut or have weeks where I just can’t get to the grocery store but still want to cook inspiring meals for my family. In comes Hello Fresh!  good friend of mine had been trying out their delivery service and was raving about her meals. She said that they were delicious and healthy and fun to make. So I decided to give it a try.I reached out to their dietitian (Yes, they have dietitians on staff!) and she graciously sent me a box for two to sample.

Cauliflower Everything “Rolls”

I love cauliflower. It is healthy, delicious and so versatile.  You can eat it raw, roast it, turn it into “rice”, pizza crust and even “rolls”! I have to admit these do not really taste like bread rolls, but they are delicious, filling and full of great flavor.

Crockpot Chicken Tacos

My children have declared Tuesdays “Taco Tuesday” for this school year. I’m happy to give them tacos every week; it helps take the stress out of meal planning. I don’t want them to get sick of tacos, so my plan is to mix it up a bit and serve different kids of taco (almost) every week! This week we tried Crock Pot Chicken Tacos.
